When you step into Rufener's greenhouse, an array of colorful blooms and fragrant flowers are delightfully found bursting everywhere! Their plants are healthy, hardy, and most beautiful. Lana and Alvin Rufener spend months planning, planting, and growing all their greenhouse flowers. You will see all their effort and care reflected throughout their greenhouses! There is a large selection and assortment in potted plants for your flower beds or planters. ProvenWinners, Euroselect, Flowerfields, are just a few of your favorite brands of flowers that they carry. You can find flowers used for drying, and a variety of common and not so common herbs! Looking for a unique planter or combination basket? They create beautiful planters and hanging baskets, (limited amounts) each unique! They can also custom design your pots and plant them if you would like to bring them in. Their bedding flowers and vegetables are grown in the classic standard flats. Depending on the plant you will get 36, 48, or 72 plants per flat. They don't use those junior flats! They literally have thousands of hanging baskets for you to choose from, and they are truly beautiful! They grow hundreds of varieties of perennials. You can also find rose bushes and climbing vines. There is so much to smell and see! You will have an enjoyable experience selecting your flowers from Rufener Hilltop Farms! The Girl's working the greenhouse are knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. If you would like they can assist you in planning a beautiful garden, and you can feel confident that you are choosing flowers that will grow good for you! Feel assured you will get personal attention if you would like, or we can respect if you prefer privacy to browse and enjoy the beauty of the flowers! Rufener Hilltop Farms greenhouse opens in mid-April. They maintain their greenhouses and store with garden accessories through June until fresh produce comes in. The perennials are available throughout fall. For your convenience, they are opened 7 days a week! Stop and enjoy the bounty of spring!
